Content.This course aims to give basic skills for mountainflying. Jaca offers excellent weather conditions ranging from thermals to wave and ridge-soaring. The microclimate in the valley where the aerodrome is located is very good, often offering possible flying conditions while the rest of Spain is drenched. The course syllabus has a distance learning package covering theoretical material to study over internet. Areas covered include human performance and limitations, oxygen systems, piloting techniques, meteorological subjects and area oriented material plus necessary manuals (AC, systems…)

Further Information.Accommodation is available in different locations. We offer accommodation in the village close to the airfield. Restaurants are reasonably priced and the restaurant at the airfield is open from 9-24 daily. Traveling is recommended via major airports (Barcelona, Madrid, Zaragoza) and a rental car is needed.
